Okay, now that Monday's over with, on with Wednesday's planning!
Thanks to Moose, it seems the latest word on the media flight is that it will depart JFK approx. 8:45 AM and arrive back approx. 10:30 AM.
EDIT: Per Ron's post (pg 2), departure is approx. 9:00 AM.
Weather currently shows sunny all day.
Who's planning on attending?

I will be there. Looks like Bayswater Park for the departure; then on to Rockaway Blvd for the arrival.
Now the forecast is for sunny but in the mid-30's, better dress up warmly for the early morning chill at Bayswater.

I'm planning on coming to New York on Wednesday, but where exactly are these spotting locations? I am not at all familiar with the city. Are they close to the airport?

I was going to be there for the departure, but since it's been brought forward I can't make it in time. I have to pick up a rental car at 8am in Lakewood, NJ.

Hello all, I'm brand-new to planespotting and would love to go out to see the A380 tomorrow. That link with the various spotting locations is great -- are some of them recommended over others? (I don't have a car and will be relying on subway/bus.) Any other tips?

hey guys, I'm new here. Found you guys out of my interest to see the A380, missed it on monday. According to flightaware i saw earlier that it was due back from ORD tonight at about 10pm? If that's the case then where is it arriving from tomorrow morning?
I have the day off, so will get a 4am wakeup call to drive down and will spot whole day. Anyone up for a I-Hop breakfast before we catch the beast?
