Cool! Now, I'm guessing that this was an engine run up with the brakes on to see when they fail?
I think this is part of the "standard" testing. An aircraft brakes must be able to survive a rejected take off at maximum weight(?) for a few minutes without failure.

Well, it definitely worked! Anyone remember that RTO with the Lufthansa A340 at JFK a while back? This stuff happens in real life!
