T-Shirt Design Opinions

One thing that we are working on behind the scenes is the new NYCAviation online store. The new store is going to have all of the old designs you folks like, and several more new ones. This time around, they shirts will be in full color, and with even better quality/feel shirts.

Aside from many more regular shirt ideas that we have, I wanted to get some opinions on this one particular shirt idea. This one says "Plane Geek" on the back, with a tiny NYCA logo at the top of the back, and a color NYCA logo on the left chest on the front. this would be great for when you're out spotting and just want to represent. It also would help show other people that we're just out there enjoying the planes, and are not worth a call to the cops. (remember this is the BACK of the shirt)

I am also considering making one that would be in "safety green" with black lettering.

I want to make sure that you folks enjoy what we make. Let me know your thoughts on this, or if you have other ideas for phrases that you think would go well on a shirt.

I love the plane geek!!! I'm going to be buying one!! :) I like the idea of the safety shirt as well!!! I'd love one as well that said "I have a camera and I'm not afraid to use it!!" :)

how about one with an artificial horizon showing aircraft inverted 20 degrees nose down with some kind of bank angle saying "BAD ATTITUDE"

Or A picture of a Throttle levers full forward saying "Balls to the Walls!"

Or a silhouette of an aircraft with "aircraft paparazzi"
(wow did I spell that bad) (edit for bad spelling)

The "bad attitude" one is pretty common, but I guess so many do it already that it wouldn't be bad to add to the mix.

The "airplane paparazzi" one isn't a bad idea. I'll have to think of how to lay that out...that's a big word for a t-shirt.

How about a black shirt that has "TSA" in big white letters? Bet we'd get some great photos that way.

Sorry, I'm still pi**ed about the JFK ramp tour being cancelled last month. Yes, I'm working on acceptance.

You know I still love the 'ride a widebody' one. that is a classic. In a longsleeve T.

I like something simple:

NYCAviation. Its just plane fun."

Hmm. How about a collection of limited editions. Some old hard to get stuff mixed in with some specials. I think a wunala limited would look nice.:cool:
