NJ AVIATION HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCES ITS UPCOMING WINGS & WHEELS EXPO 2010
Teterboro, New Jersey September 9, 2010.
George Simpson, Marketing Director of the Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum announced today that the popular Wings and Wheels Expo will be held September 25, 9 AM –5 PM and September 26, 9AM –4PM at Teterboro Airport Teterboro, NJ
Simpson said “This event is a family affair and is a fun experience for all. We are also giving veterans with VFW or American Legion hats and active duty military, with current I.D., free entry this year. Visitors can see WWII airplanes as well as other types of vintage airplanes, cars and military vehicles. There are many other exhibits and vendors. Visitors can even fly in a B-17 Fortress.” Other display aircraft include, but are not limited to, a P-40 “Warhawk”, P-47 “Thunderbolt” and “B-25 Mitchell”.
Admission Fees are $12.00, $7.00 for seniors and children (under 3, free).
Located at Teterboro Airport, the museum is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State’s distinguished 200-year aviation heritage. The museum is the official aviation museum of the State of New Jersey and is committed to educating the public at large and the school children of New Jersey. The Port Authority NY/NJ provides valuable support to the museum.
