Offutt AFB Air Show-8/27/2011
-
Nice set Doug and excellent lighting conditions for the airshow.

Oh man, I am super jealous of the 707 and the Doomsday 747 :-) Noice...
-
Really nice work, Doug, I like these! You had a good selection of subjects to shoot.

You talking about the third photo? That's an E-3B Sentry, which is the only one of these based on the 707 airframe. The second photo looks like an RC-135V/W Rivet Joint aircraft, which is modified from the KC-135 line. That is a cool capture, along with the E-4. And from the protuberance on the side of that last -135 looking aircraft, I'd guess it is the WC-135 Constant Phoenix sniffer aircraft.

No Moose, the second pic below the C-17, isn;t that a 707 derivative?
-
No Manny, that's an RC-135 Rivet Joint surveillance aircraft. It's based on the KC-135 line, which is different from the 707.

Where did that Hind come from?

Very jealous of the MiMi (I think that's what it is?) and the doomsday 747

Oh yeah, I think there's some sort of "Cold War Museum" in the Dallas suburbs. That must have been it. Interesting!

Great set Doug! Who is the three ship prop team?

I'm not sure. I don't see them listed in the program. Here's a picture of one of the planes.
