Dornier Flying Boat DO-24
Over the weekend we had a special visitor to the NY area. Unfortunately, no one I knew about it beforehand. She landed on the water in front of Battery Park on Sat., and we missed it. But Senga, Tom Turner and I got her today. Here's a couple of pics. I'm sure Senga will add a few too.

Terrible overhead Sun and when she took off she was the only one that didn't go straight and stay in the light. She turned and came right over our heads. But it was nice just to see her.
