KFCI-Chesterfield Virginia October 2015: Warbirds in Town

Hey Guys!

Time for another small set from Virginia. Several weeks back I got word of the Collings Foundation coming to a small regional airport south of Richmond, so I decided to head down and check it out. While I went in hope of catching the B-24, it wound up stuck in Stafford for mechanical reasons. That being said, I got some ok shots of the B-17 and P-51, so all was not lost! The Mustang flew like 4 times while we were there, and the B-17 once. Definitely cool to watch.

Had to guess on a location for the B-17 to clear the fence on departure and got lucky!
