Most Reliable Source Of Aircraft Registration

What is most reliable source to find correct aircraft registration, with as much as possible info(like numer of seats...etc)?
Site that I do upload my aircraft photos, sometimes doesn't have an aircraft registered yet. I did registered on that site a few aircrafts - entered mandatory(fields) registration data I got from planespotters site.

Could anyone suggest most reliable site, where I could find if needed an aircraft registration data.

most other countries have similar databases. Military? Good luck, although there are good sources, it is sometimes a crapshoot to find the info.

As Manny says, the FAA Database is the place for US civilian registrations. For US military, the most comprehensive source I've ever found is Joe Baugher's site:

Another very good source is the Scramble database, for both civilian and military aircraft, both US and foreign:

These three get me 99%+ of anything I'm looking for. With military aircraft, it can be harder to find because they use a variety of different systems for marking the aircraft, which may not give you the actual serial number, so you need to do a little research. For example, the VC-25s you see used as Air Force 1 carry the numbers 28000 and 29000 on the tail, but their actual USAF serial numbers are 82-8000 and 92-9000.

I also use Airfleets.net when I'm looking for a list of aircraft for a particular airline.

I use www.airfleets.net to get the regs when I am spotting. Sometimes all I get are the numbers on the nose gear door. This site has almost every airline, their detailed fleets, and all the tail numbers. It even has the name of the aircraft if the airline names their planes.
