Omni Air
Does anyone know how many planes Omni has in their fleet? I know they've got at least 8 airfcraft, made up of DC-10s and 757s.
Last week, I was in BWI and I saw 4 of their planes on the there, some of which were AOG I believe. Then I went to Shannon, Ireland, where I also saw 4 of their birds....some of which I also understand were AOG.
Can anyone fill me in?
Note: AOG means Aircraft on Ground, and is generally a term for a plane that is grounded for mechanical reasons.

Come to ATL and you'd find the last two DC-10s, probably AOG as well.

Any time you see an Omni DC-10 parked somewhere, the #2 engine is usually opened up.....always working on those things.

I learned that all of those Omni aircraft were in Shannon because they are doing an extended subservice for Aer Lingus.
