Old shots, New HDR

I was playing around with some settings and was trying some stuff on some older images.

Not sure if this works, what do you guys think?

I have to admit I really have not invested any time into learning about HDR but I love the outcomes!

Thanks guys.. I know on the shuttle one I went a bit over the top, but I was trying to give it a painttery feel.
