SEA & BFI 10/25/08 (Now with a lot more pics)
Re: SEA & BFI 10/25/08 (Now with a lot more pics)
Yeah, that RAAF 737 messed me up as it was coming in - BFI gets a lot of cargo tri-holers from UPS and sometimes Fed-Ex (though Fed-Ex goes to SEA 95% of the time) - so when I saw it out on the horizon and zoomed in I thought it was a MD-11 at first but the wings seemed so short...and I already knew that a 737 test flight was due to land shortly but I thought it was one of the airliner 738's on a test flight not one of the weird experimentals...
There was a NW 752 there - which didn't make much sense to me, and an Antonov prop though I don't know which one. Too bad I couldn't catch those - they were a bit too far away.

Jerslice, as usual great shots, that RAAF 737 is one funky looking 737, and the Boeing scheme on the 777F prototype is very cool. The NW 752 at BFI was probably a Sports charter, NW is a big player with those and as you will quickly learn most visiting teams use BFI instead of SEA. When I used to visit Seattle to shoot I always prefered BFI over SEA for the vareity and unique, instead of the bigger number of movements at Sea-Tac.
Good luck with your new life out their !
