It's been years since I've been to LA, and although I have seen recent pics from the Lincoln Blvd spot, I recall police often hassling people over there.
Does anyone know how police have been treating people there at all?

I spent an hour or two there back in 2007 and didn't have any troubles.
Last time I was over there was probably about 2 or 3 months ago but basically if you're only spotting the cops just drive by. Once in a while they will stop but they never ask you to leave. It seems as soon as you pull out the camera though then they begin to hassle people. I don't know though, I seem to draw cops like ice cream trucks draw fat kids. My experience may be A-typical.

Polli, if you ran from the cops, you'd be in better shape!
I would give it a shot Phil, I have seen some awesome shots from that spot. Check it out when you are there and see what happens.Quote:

I've been there and enjoyed it, but back then it was hit or miss. My question now pertains to whether or not to add it to the LAX spotting guide. But if there's that much hassle going on, I'd rather not.
I can't lie, I'd still visit it myself though. I just wouldn't want to put others in that situation or get a peed-off email from LAX ops or LAPD.
