Heading out to NYC in Spring

Hello guys,

I will most likely be heading out to NYC in the spring of '07. It will be my first time in the big Apple, but I am coming by bus (Going with my High School Band) any suggestions on where to go in NYC besides the usual? Anything that tourists don't know about that is worth visiting.


I might have a few hours one day to go spotting, if anyone can meet up with me and show me some good spots that would be awesome, but no guarantees until the date gets closer if I will have the time to spot (it's about a 60% chance I will) Anyway, I will post a topic in the spotting forum if I get a guarantee for spotting.
