What little imperfections in aircraft shots drive you insane
Post a shot (preferably your own) of those little imperfections that really drive you crazy. The ones that makes you want to go out and re-shoot a plane or disturb you every time you cast your gaze upon the picture. Its about think things you don't have control over. Please do not let this deteriorate into an off topic aviation site uploading/rejection tyrade or judgmental posting on other peoples shots.
The two major ones that I can't live with are:
When the landing gear is blocked by an object (Especially the nose gear)

A sun streak that that goes right through the windows and titles to make the aircraft look windowless or title-less.

When only a very small portion of object behind the plane sticks out. In the Gambia 727 its middle engine with the corner of the Dulles Jet Center Hanger.

When something behind the main aircraft gives off an optical illusion and appears to be part of the main subject being shot.
Tail, Landing gear, parts of buildings etc.

Another plane in the way disrupting your shot of an even rarer plane in your area-

seahawks7757,
I have a few shots like that myself where another plane got in the way. Yea seeing the big wing out of focus would be annoying.
Blurred and out of focus things would drive me crazy too.

Re: What little imperfections in aircraft shots drive you insane
took me a while to realize there was a girl with that p-47!!!
Re: What little imperfections in aircraft shots drive you insane
There is a P47 there??????????? :?:
Re: What little imperfections in aircraft shots drive you insane
And you had to make me suffer posting a pic of Thai's MINT old livery huh!
For me it would have to be those "tugs of death" that totally ruin the shot. Hate it how they elevate the front end! Somehow I don't have a shot with one, so why am I complaining? Because I know eventually I'll get one! :x :x :x
I'd rather get any and all of those 'imperfections' Senga listed at the same time than the Tug of Doom!

Just saw their were some new responses.
Oh yes I enjoy making people suffer by looking at shots past
Yes I cant stand those tugs as well. I also can't stand those Orange" aircraft boots that make it look like the plane was illegally parked.
Heat Haze?
Oh Yes.....when that happens it totally wasted a shot 100 percent and there isn't anything you can do about it.

Heat haze that is light enough not to notice in the viewfinder, but turns up when you get home and find those friendly fuzzy edges you thought for damn sure were razor sharp.
Pisses me off to no end.
Re: What little imperfections in aircraft shots drive you insane
I hate that...I try to do whatever I can to keep that experience from happening. Also what about heat haze that ONLY shows up when you finally get a plane with a cheat line. If there wasn't as cheat line you wouldn't noticed the haze. That drives me crazy too.

Heat haze drives me nuts too - particularly with my new camera - it's very sensitive to heat haze...but...what I hate the most - is the heat haze that appears over water despite the temperature being 34 degrees and the wind chill being in the teens - I've had that at Bayswater - freezing our butts off - yet heat haze over to 4L - that just sucks!

Outside air temperature 12 degrees F, wind chill something below Zero that I don't ever want to think about again - and what's that? Yes, heat haze...
