Greetings,
Although not terribly interesting the RMAF B744s are pretty rare at JFK. I swore I had a shot of the latest colors in my collection on the B744 but apparently I was incorrect so I wet down to get it.

Nice catch, Senga! This is also the newly delivered 747-400 for the Moroccan government, former A6-UAE (note she's decked out with bells and whistles). The RAM 747-400 that has visited in the past is CN-RGA, which continues to operate scheduled flights for the flag carrier.

Uhh...that's pretty badass and I hope to see it in September, new livery or not that flying star on the tail is awesome

Thanks, All

Gorden,
Yea I had a feeling CN-RGA was basically taken off of VIP use. As you know ti was being shared between both VIP and passenger use for many years.

Megatop,
Glad they kept most of the tail logo. There are so many new airline liveries out these days that have very abstract tail logos. One thing I did notice is that they have Arabic written on both sides now instead of one side English and the other Arabic.

Nice job catching it arriving. I got it departing but the weather was ugly. For some reason flickr and my laptop aren't playing nice so I can't post it here.

Yea that evening we had some storms roll in. It was very different later int he day than when I shot it. Senga

One thing I did notice is that they have Arabic written on both sides now instead of one side English and the other Arabic.

The Arabic titles on this one say The Kingdom of Morocco (al-Mamlika al-Maghrebiya) instead of the equivalent of Royal Air Maroc. It's the same wording/livery that's on CN-MVI, the BBJ2, although they used a more "printed" version Arabic script on the 737 vs. the more flourishy script seen on the 7-4.

Matthew,
Thanks for clearing that up. I got the impression the titles may have said as such as the Arabic did seem to be different than the "Royal Air Maroc" in Arabic.
