Birdstrike KLM B747

Last wednesday I was filming crosswind landings at runway18 R, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Around 15pm the PH-BFS got a birdstrike when flaring for touchdown.
Happily the bird hit the nose instead of one of the engines.

That was a great landing video with all that wing flex, even without the birdstrike.

That bird was a goner the second it looked that 747 in the eyes

I rarely take a moment to look at videos and yes this one was cool. "Pop goes the weasel" keeps running through my head!
