The aircraft bearing the registration, 9V-SKI visited JFK yesterday. As I no longer spot, I was hoping that somebody saw it. It bears a huge red and orange design along its fuselage for the 50th anniversary. Also, any chance to ever see the new ANA B787 here? It is in a Star Wars livery. ANA uses B773s to JFK; I was wondering.

Now, SIA claims that a second A388 also flies with the 50th Anniversary sticker along the fuselage beside 9V-SKI, but they do not answer my enquiry as to the tail number. Also, SIA has recently closed their NYC ticket office to the public. I used to get free posters, timetables, postcards, etc. there. It is only open to Singapore employees.

SIA says that the anniversary aircraft will not be coming anymore to North America. They will fly only in Asia & Europe.
