If you asked me what my favorite commercial aircraft was, I would say the 777. I think it wins in both the look and the reliability category.

I Just thought I would create a fun little thread to see if you can name or remember for that matter, every regularly scheduled 777 (Current) operator at KJFK. You can also use this as a checklist, checking off each one you have caught! (Excluding charters like Euro Atlantic, Omni Air)
Feel free to add any that I have missed!

Heres what I have:

777-200/200ER:
Alitalia
KLM
Air France
Delta
El Al
American
Kuwait
British
Austrian
Asiana
Saudi Arabian
Transaero

777-200LR:
Pakistan International

777F:
TNT
Air China Cargo
Lufthansa Cargo
Korean Air Cargo
Air France Cargo (Occasionally)

777-300/300ER:
PIA (Occasionally) -Thanks Eric.
Transerao (300 non ER)
Jet Airways (Etihad)
Etihad
Emirates
KLM
American
Air France
Air China
Japan Airlines
ANA
Qatar
Saudi Arabian
British
Egypt Air
Cathay Pacific
Turkish
Aeroflot
Eva Air
Air France
Air India
China Southern
China Eastern
TAM

Woah- That's a lot of 777 operators!

The better question is which airlines have 777s, but don't bring them to JFK?

I have United, Korean, Aeromexico, Singapore, and Fedex. Any others?

Well played, Jason.
I've got every one except the LH Cargo and the KE Cargo, but I've only seen AF Cargo at ORD and I've only seen Eva at LAX and EWR.

I've only seen the Transaero 773 once, and I haven't seen a Pakistan 773 since 2008.

It's rare but FedEx has brought in a 777. I believe one came in last month, and I know I have a shot of a FedEx 777 that was parked by Evergreen a couple of years ago.

Well played Jason, well played. The only reason I opted not to include Korean was because they mostly fly 2X A380 daily.
Nick, Glad to see your interest in the topic ;)

Was that a brief interregnum between retiring the 744s and starting the 380? Was Aeromexico ever scheduled, or were those just ad-hoc subs? There's only 4 in the fleet, and they're pretty tightly scheduled. I don't remember United at all, but lo and behold, I have a single sighting at JFK in 2006. Was that a Tokyo flight? Heathrow?

Yep! There was a while where the JFK flight was a 77W. Didn't last long, though.

I've been spotting too long when other spotters don't remember United 777's at JFK.

You can add AeroLogic to the cargo carrier list. Its been here but usually in the very early hours of the morning flying in for Lufthansa.

I remember working those flights! The UA London 777's, flights 900/901 & 902/903 in the afternoon, 908/907 in the morning & the extra 904/905 which was usually a summer add on but that was in 767-300ER eqpt. Tokyo was a 777-200ER for a short time before the route went to Newark.

Singapore went straight from 744's to 1st A380 arrival so the T7's must have been before or after the transition

Mark, I love both of those planes! I really want that FX 777 though, what a beauty! Anyways, the Aerologic is more regular than the fedex, but both are very rare!

William, the singapore 777 filled in for the A380 in winter 2013.

It was indeed after the transition. JFK was downguaged for a little while.

747 was retired and they went to 777 then to A380. It was not a straight transition

Singapore did go straight from the 744 to the A380 (http://airlineroute.net/2011/09/19/sq-frajfk-w11/) on 1/15/12. The following winter, they downgauged to the 77W for about 3 months (http://airlineroute.net/2012/07/24/sq-w12update2/).

Actually, there are plenty of airlines that having 777 but not serving JFK: Vietnam, Scoot, China Airlines (only starting in Feb), Air Canada, Malaysia, Air New Zealand, Philipines, Kenya, Taag Angola, Turkmenstan.

There are a great many 777 operators worldwide, but this is a thread about 777s at JFK, and it was fairly obvious that the line of discussion dealt with airlines THAT SERVE JFK, but do so with aircraft other than their 777s

I'd love to get Eva, TNT (and any other cargo T7) and the Pakistan T7s that have mostly evaded my lens, either not coming in or taking the 13 split.

Here's the evidence of the FedEx (July 2013)
I was real lucky to catch that 777F too.
