If it's no bigger than the door, then no special. The A380 with the Pele signature is a special livery as it takes up a third of the plane. See my JP shots below. I got the A380 wold cup accepted as a special. The ones with just the trophy on the nose aren't special.

The Virgin Atlantic is not a special since it has that sticker on all their aircraft.

The Virgin Atlantic is not a special since it has that sticker on all their aircraft.

Kaz, I do consider "special" even several Emirates 777's have(had) same sticker. Airplane painting wasn't plain, so, it should be considered special. I don't know, why size of sticker matters? Of course, most stickers are bigger - they want to be seen.
Stickers on frame behind wings usually are bigger sizes than those that in front.
