Yesterday a baby stopped breathing on a flight from Tampa to Phoenix. The baby is fine as they had a cpr instructor on the flight. http://www.azcentral.com/community/phoenix/articles/20140312flight-phoenix-diverted-after-baby-suffers-seizure-abrk.html

Now my question is when this happens what happens in the cockpit? The flight was diverted to Houston. Do they have to dump fuel? Im sure it is a little chaotic in the first few minutes. Im just curious!

Most narrow bodies can't dump fuel, and don't need to since max landing weight isn't that much below max take off weight. If they have to, they'll land overweight but unless the emergency is right at take off, they're usually below max landing weight.
