According to recent articles posted on CH-Aviation, JFK will see the introduction of A380 service from Etihad and A350 service from Qatar in December 2014.
Etihad Airways will take delivery of their first A380 aircraft in December 2014 and have announced JFK as one of the initial destinations. Additionally, Qatar Airways, the launch customer for the A350-900, will take delivery of the first aircraft also in December 2014. After deploying the aircraft on training flights within the Gulf, they will send the aircraft to JFK as its first long-haul destination before adding further destinations in Europe. Granted this is subject to the on-time delivery of the aircraft.
