JFK Hotels

Hi,

I am a new member just joined this week. I have been in Aviation for over 28 years at both British Airways Engineering and now NetJets.

I have a question about JFK hotels. At the moment I am booked at the Hampton Inn and I am wondering if there are any views there if I get a high up floor, or would I be better off spending the money to stay at the JFK Hilton. I am arriving the day prior to my flight to get some spotting done - Mainly after Jet Blue and adding to my International operators. Flying out the next day on Aer Lingus via Dublin to LHR and bacvk to LAX on the BA A380 using all my miles to sit up front.

Any hotel help would be grateful. thank you all.

Hello and welcome. As of right now, there is a holiday Inn opening up Jan 5. 2014... There are going to be some great views! it on brookville blvd and rockaway tpk. they are taking reservations now for JAN 5. I can't wait!

If you do decide to rent a room there I suggest getting the highest floor available and a room facing towards NYC (facing west), which would be the front of the hotel.

Due to Lufthansa strike I am flying in on Wednesday and then to Heathrow via Vienna now on Austrian.
