While sunbathing yesterday at the Brooklyn shore, around 1500, something appeared directly overhead, it was the Snoopy MetLife Airship. I was in shock as she usually appears during sporting events or for Macy's fireworks. At exactly the same time, the Emirates A388 was approaching to arrive on 13L. Where does a spotter look? Anybody know why Snoopy is here? She repeatedly flew east to west over the shoreline then finally disappeared towards the Statue. Is she berthing here in Farmingdale or NJ? Anybody else see her? I am returning to Coney today to see the Sand Castle Contest but will keep 1 eye to the sky! :confused:
