I do believe MD80s are cool planes. I sat in the cockpit twice on 2 MD-80s and I gotta say, very cool. I didnt even think for sure that MD-80s were that reliable. AirDisaster.com shows 9 haul loss. But yeah, If I was flying an MD-80 as a pilot, id probably miss those too.
