T5 Parking Rates to Increase

Well.....be prepared to pay more at T5 starting July 1st.

First 1/2 hour going to $4
31-60mins going to $8
Each additional 1/2 hour will be $4

The irony in this is that each and every garage spotter is a paying customer- we will now be paying more only to be harassed by security. What ever happened to "the customer is always right..." ?

I think it's a good idea to park off site and then drive in together in a carpool where possible.

Last night I was at T5 after the new rates went into effect and they only had two manned lanes open and none of the EZ-Pass lanes opened. It took me about 15mins or more before I finally got to the cashier. I paid my $8 dollars and stated to the guy "you guys increased the the rates and laid off cashiers too" since only two lanes where operational and both were backed up. He chuckled as I drove off.

Free broken glass and stolen goods too, Vinny :smile: no thanks! Bad thing also is that if you have no wheels at T5, they will definitely escort you off the property. It is a Parking Garage so if you have no car, you have no business there. A few of my international friends have done this while waiting for flights and all have told me they were escorted off.
