What treat it was to be out on RWY 22L this morning! Good seeing everyone out there.

Nice shot of the spotters and that B6 incoming. I love the feel. What post filter did you use? Topaz?

Don .... i ran two different filters using Topaz .... First filter was a Dramatic Filter and the second I believe was a Shadows Filter.

Oh trust me, by the end, they were definitely chasing us. The last mile or so, if we so much as stopped one of the airport ops workers was honking at us. To be honest though, most of the PA and PAPD crew were pretty welcoming. But the one that kept pushing us along starting just before the halfway point seemed a bit overzealous.

It was great seeing everybody out there, seeing some old faces and meeting some new ones in person. Great shots so far guys!

This was organized by the JFK Rotary Club and sponsored by some airlines. PA had not much to do with the organization or event other than providing security and allowing it :)

(http://search.active.com/search?k=runway&l=everywhere&f=activities&m=meta:endDate:daterange:today..+meta:channel=Runn ing) Keep a look out, you definitely might find something.

Yesterday was crazy cool. Great seeing you all out there! I couldn't believe I was actually running over the numbers, they're a lot bigger that I thought they would be up close like that. Don suggested that(and he is probably right)watching the planes probably interfered with my focus and I ended up running a 24:15, 20 seconds short of a personal best. So Manny, it looks like I get to try out that 200-400mmVR next time we see each other- unless, that is, someone here got a better time:cool:

Mark, I think the PA would be dragging you out of there after about an hour and 30 minutes. We just need some slower wheelchair racers next time since they seemed to set the pace.

Is Interjet another niche luxury airline, or is that particular aircraft on a ferry mission or on lease?

Interjet is a regularly scheduled flight. It arrives during the late evening hours but departs around 7:30am or 8:00am during the week days and departs around 10:00am during the weekends.

Im aware of that, dont think they have used 22L before though. Usually 31L, which leaves you a little bit more away from the action.
