I know the old PanAm Terminal is slated for demolition. I have already signed the petition to save it; but that won't do any good unless the building is classified as a landmark (slim chance for that). Is there anyway enthusiasts like us could re-visit before demolition? Last time I tried to enter the Departure Level, I was turned-away since I had no Delta boarding pass. I was only allowed to enter the lower level (arrivals), so I left. I wanted to re-visit one last time and remember all the hours I spent at different gates photographing PanAm, Aeroflot, Avianca, Tarom, ANA, (Pokemon B744),SAA and so many more. Only once, I got kicked-out by a nasty Argenbright security guard who had nothing better to do. He even escorted me out of the terminal! The Rooftop Outdoor Parking Facility was like Shangri-La to me and my friends (many made-out in their cars as well) in the 70's and 80's. The workers there were always kind letting me take luggage tags, timetables, inflight magazines, etc. To us, this is like the demolition of Yankee Stadium was to MLB fans. Heartbreaking!
