Wow sunday the spotting god was at JFK what a day. Also Cargolux came in 31R? What a pleasant surprise. They always land on 31L when I am there of course.

It was an odd day at JFK. Strong winds prevented the tower from doing the typical 4:30pm switch to 22/31KE, so they remained on 31 until about 6 or 7pm. Cargolux requested 31L, but there were too many departures lined up. Worked nicely for us!
