Wow! Haven't seen an Ilyushin-62 since Aeroflot and OK (Czech) in the heyday. I thought they were grounded or in museums. Wonder if it was a direct flight from Russia?

Wow! Had my doubts this one in particular would ever show up in the US. And here it is at LAX.

IL-62 has been to LAX in recent years though (the regular Russian Govt transport at the time).
