A federal judge ruled Tuesday that a negligence lawsuit against American Airlines, United Airlines and others over the destruction of the World Trade Center in the 9/11 attacks may move forward. The suit was filed years ago by the leaseholder of the towers, World Trade Center Properties LLC, a subsidiary of Silverstein Properties.
