With the additional delivery of four new 777-300ER aircraft to their fleet and the retirement of their 767-300 fleet, TAM will be upgrading one of their 2 daily GRU-JFK flights from the A330-200 to the 777-300ER. Effective November 19th, the 777-300ER will arrive in the early morning as JJ8080 and depart in the early evening as JJ8081 with a 4xweekly frequency. As December 17th the 777-300ER will be daily.
I had read that the 777-300ER would operate 9xweekly flights so there's still a chance it will operate JJ8082/JJ8083.
