While a great concept, and I am not taking anything away from it, it seems to be useful in capturing a SINGLE shot hires pano. For much more useful military application (or other devious applications I can think of for myself :smile:) it would benefit more if each camera were behind a telephoto lens. As it stands, each section of the gigapixel is no more defined than a single camera trained on the same spot for a single shot.
