Got to IAD early today, and missed the French A330 landing by a few minutes, but saw Francois Hollande deplaning. Other highlights were the full lineup of planes parked and a Russian Il-76. Check the whole set for some closeups (A bit heat distorted) of more planes.

Nice coverage, John. When I departed IAD on Thursday evening I saw the IL-76 and wasn't sure who it belonged to, I'm glad to have some clarification with that. I'm told most of the aircraft will be departing this afternoon if you'd like another go!

Thanks all! Unfortunately the light and haze was pretty harsh and I had leave a little early and missed another two ANA 777's and an Il-96. Gordon, from the schedule it looks like they'll all be leaving around dark using 30. Here's the schedule:
