Last week, Joe Walden from New York's Fox 5 fueled up the trusty news van with a tank of hyperbole and ventured out to Westchester County Airport, where he was met by all sorts of dastardly wrongdoing that could potentially kill every man, woman and child in the tri-state area. It is so crazy how the local news (and even the national at times) doesn't quite get the stories right. Just think how many times that you have personal knowledge about a news item and how often the local news makes errors on that story. Project that to all the stories that you don't know about and they probably have errors in them as well. This story sounds quite sensationalist and so many in the public just eat it up as gospel. We are so gullible. Matt, nice job on the debunk.
