Air to air

Did my first air-to-air session last night. Everything went really well, good pilots, good light and a decent photographer :smile: I met up with one of the principals of ION Aircraft and he asked if I had done any air-to-air photography. I said no, but that I had done a lot of aviation photography. Gave him my card and told him look at my Smugmug page. A couple of days later he gives me a call and we start setting up the details. The first session was a non-starter, the photo plane was not running right so I just did some static shots in the evening light. But yesterday everything came together and we took to the skies. The photography plane was a Luscombe T8 Observer and the subject was ION Aircraft #1.

I think they will be happy with the results and hopefully we can do another session when the fall colors are in full bloom.
