A United Express regional jet carrying more than 45 people skidded off a runway at Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in the Canadian capital of Ottawa on late Sunday afternoon, airline and emergency officials said.

3rd time off the runway here in Ottawa for "Waterski".

We were at DCA for the heavy rain on Monday. In the Gravelley Point parking lot was a crew from the local news (probably Fox) waiting for the same thing to happen there.

Closest we got was a Colgan Air Saab which had a pretty visious wobble whilst landing on the cross runway.

Once the rain had gone there were some awesome vapour making momnts from some of the larger aircraft as the deaprted north.
