Last batch of shots from my trip.

It was too bad I was in Berlin only 5 days after the 787 visited there, but the observation deck in Hamburg made up for it. The glass here wasn't as bad as JFK or Heathrow. The 70-300mm was the prefect lens for this place.

This next one was, without a doubt, the highlight of all the aircraft I was able to capture. It looks like it's in pristine condition. I remember reading about how it was there some time ago but I never thought I'd see it in person. I had to shoot it at an angle, and it doesn't seem too terribly distorted.

Without further ado, here she is:

When we were in the terminal I saw a check-in desk for Bulgarian Air Charter and got excited, thinking I'd finally get my lens on a Yakovlev or Tupolev. But, they flew in a "Super 80", as shown behind this Turkish 320.

This Condor 753 had Snoopy and Woodstock on the title for some reason. A Hapag-Lloyd 737 is landing in the background.

The airfield is celebrating its 100th anniversary:

We then boarded our BA A319 back to LHR.

Then onto our Virgin A346 to head west, home. While waiting in line for 9R I cursed as I glanced out the window and saw the Thai 744 Retro landing on 9L.

I had read stories about the cabin flex people felt on the stretch DC-8's and laughed, thinking they were imagining things. But boy, from where we were seated in row 57 on this thing, barrelling down 9R and feeling them trying to keep it on the centerline, I leaned into the aisle and watched the lead purser seated at the front bulkhead sway in and out of view.
