The fifth Boeing P-8A Poseidon made its first flight this week, the first Poseidon to fly since Boeing and the US Navy announced a new $1.6 billion contract for six of the heavily modified 737’s that are to replace the Navy's fleet of aging Lockheed P-3 Orions.
