Just curious, what is the difference between "Views" and "Replies". I see many posts today have a numbers of replies but no views. Mmmm, if you're replying aint you viewing? LOLOL!! Jest wondering.

I've seen that before. It's probably just the forum software caching the views and displaying an updated count every 5-10 minutes, rather than showing the real time count. If it had to show the live count for every thread on the site, the server would come to a screeching halt. It's similar to how A.net and JP work with photo views.

Cary's right. The view counter for threads is not realtime, it takes a little for the views to register.

It's very frustrating when you're monitoring traffic like I do. haha

Of course, you also have some people who reply without looking at the thread, but that's a different story...

Bringing this subject back up, it does appear that the view count is taking an abnormally long time to update. For instance, every new topic in the past few days is still stuck at 0.

Yes, I noticed that, too. It's clearly broken. We're looking into it.
