People still do this crap? Bunch of inbred morons

Anyone who gets caught doing this should be strapped to a table and have their own laser aimed straight at their junk

i've been lucky and it hasn't happened to me but i know a pilot who got lased and managed to lose about 400ft altitude during the encounter. not necessarily a good thing when you're only traveling at 500ft!

There have men many posts about this before and it will continue, here is my take taken from the thread the last time this happened

you left out the part about beating the hell out of them and then calling PAPD or NYPD. Seriously tho, these issues will lever go away as it is part of human nature. It starts with "he look, it reaches the house across the street", then goes to "Hey, it can hit the house at the end of the block", then "Hey, it actually can hit that tree 3 blocks away", then "WOW, I can hit the low ceiling clouds", then the dubmass next to you says "Look at that low flying airplane".

I would never do this as I understand what would happen, but your average Joe Jack@ss has no idea and is quite innocent as they do not understand....Unlike the dumbass I watched a bar do it to a uniformed police officer.... BIG MISTAKE!

If I did see it happen, there would be a lot of static!!!!

It happens more than people know, especially around this area! There have been numerous lazing incidents all throughout N.J. in the past year... I've been "lazed" twice over Afghanistan at altitudes over 20,000' - not a big deal.. Can't imagine getting lazed by the same strength laser at 1,000 or 2,000'!
