American Airlines unveiled Boeing 767 Flagship Independence, its latest yellow-ribbon aircraft, Thursday at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The jet took off with approximately 150 wounded troops headed to the "Tribute to the Troops 2010 Las Vegas," sponsored by American Airlines and The Sands Foundation.

With the rollout of Flagship Independence, American and American Eagle have six aircraft with yellow-ribbon decals and the slogan, "In support of all who serve," on their fuselages. American is the official airline of the USO.

That looks to be a 200 series, no? That will be an easy catch then at JFK since they only run them basically JFK-SFO/LAX...and MIA.
