Smoke and Fire in the cockpit and a failed return to the airport....very sad, RIP

I heard they simply could not see their instruments through all the smoke. Very tragic. :(

She was flying for such a short time- the fire must have gotten huge in short order. Awful, please post what was the cause when found.

Sounds like they were about 20 minutes out when the fire broke out and they turned around...made an approach too high and too fast and missed the airport, then crashed about 12 miles past it.
