I have taken a liking to photographing storms recently... Here is some of my recent stuff. Forgive the night stuff... I was shooting handheld and with as much coffee as I drink it is not easy to sit steady.

These shots were from that tremendous storm that dropped a Tornado in the Bronx a few weeks ago... They are shot from my home in LB.

Thanks..... Out west and down south the storms are quite imressive generally compared to what we see on Long Island.... Some of those systems and cells are absolutely amazing to see in person from a far out perspective... Particularly if you have a nice open stretch of land to view from... When I am home in Sarasota during the summer around 3PM I always try be outside on the beach because you just see this massive towering pair or set of individual cells with well formed anvils to them and a real low base sitting out there. The base of them looks like it is many miles away and the top of it hangs over your head. It is quite impressive to see.
