NASCAR team owner Jack Roush was injured Tuesday in the crash of his Raytheon 390 Premier business jet. The crash occurred in Oshkosh, WI, where Roush was arriving to attend the EAA's annual AirVenture. Roush, an experienced pilot, and a friend were the only occupants of the jet, which crashed on the runway during a landing attempt. Both walked away from the crash with minor injuries. The aircraft was heavily damaged in the crash.

In 2002, Roush was seriously injured in the crash of his P-51 Mustang.

I got a few photos of this aircraft in 2007 on the ramp at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport when the NASCAR Air Force was in town for the Pocono race:

Looks like the registration has changed - when I shot it, it was N71761, the crash photo shows it is now N6JR.

Saw those last night, Steve. The photos look scary, but from reports, it looks much worse than it actually is.

Wow! Glad to see that he's walking under his own power. However, that Premier is done for.

Let me add one correction to my original post - although Jack Roush owns two P-51 Mustangs, he was flying an Aircam (http://www.aircam.com/index.htm) when he crashed in 2002.

I love how those guys see a plane crashing and look to make sure their camera gear is out of the way.

That first pic looks as if it's shopped. The scary thing is that it's not!
