I just realized this is my first plane spotting excursion in three years! :shock:

I got some shots of Marine One around DC the past few days. I wanted the VH-60N but only saw the VH-3D. :(

Oh well maybe next time! :D

Nice captures! The only suggestion I have is to slow down the shutter speed a little more to get a more rotor blur.

Nice shots. Where were these taken in DC?
And you usually wont see the VH-60 transporting the President in the States and especially in DC. They use it
on trips abroad since its easier to transport that the VH-3.
I was lucky enough to catch Obama returning to the White House last August while in DC. Its a VERY impressive
thing to view.

nothin' wrong with a -3, they're Sikorsky-built making them a real man's helicopter.
