This is in conjunction with August's Airliners International 2010 (http://nycaviation.com/forum/airliners-international-convention-in-ny-area-this-august-t18848.html) show in New Jersey. Even if you don't want to fly on it, I'd say it's a pretty unique photo op, no?

For those interested in taking pics of this bird, it will most likely be parking on the Signature East ramp at the northeast corner of the airport.

Because this aircraft was supposed to be at AI 2009 in Orlando last July and was still coming 2 weeks prior and cancelled last minute because it still had not flown, I was understandly skeptical when the TEB flights where announced and the aircraft still had not flown 10 months later. But history was made yesterday (Sunday July 4th) at Opa Loka when the DC-7 made a successful 25 min test flight included a low altitiude fly by prior to landing. It is scheduled to visit Air Venture 2010 at Oskosh in a few weeks, if it makes that hopefully we will see her at TEB in August.

Cheers
