WINS reporting it happened around 3PM. Small plane was practicing touch and goes. Numerous road closures in the area.

As per News12 at 5, pilot and student received burns. Both went to USB, the pilot flown by SCPD.
One injured on ground, a female good samaritan with chest pains taken to Brookhaven Hospital.
Airport never closed operations.
