Probably not cheap. Best option would be a card reader which costs around $10.

I think your talking about the CF adapter that goes into the PC slot? That is all I use especially since I think Sergio does all his editing on a laptop

I am the same way. All laptop thanks to card slot built into it. Not really sure as I am not a huge computer guy

I was thinking a USB card reader. Probably a little slower than the slot version but easier to set up, just plug and play. And still faster than camera-USB connection.

Thats good advice, but I spoke to Nick V a little while ago, my laptop does have a card slot on the side but my CF card wont fit..

It looks like the only way to fix it would be to solder a new mini USB connector to the camera's circuit board which is just too risky.

Here are some CF card readers from Newegg.com: (which is one of the best electronic online retailers.)

Internal reader for laptops (excluding older laptops and newer macbooks) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16839158023&cm_re=cf_card_reader-_-39-158-023-_-Product)

Internal 3.5" card reader (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820223113&cm_re=cf_card_reader-_-20-223-113-_-Product)

USB 2.0 CF card reader (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820270008&cm_re=usb_cf_card_reader-_-20-270-008-_-Product)

I never use the USB connector. I have always used a card reader. You can find a small card reader almost anywhere. There are computer shows most weekends that have them.

Hey Sergio,

Here's the card reader that I bought after my old one bit the dust:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00109 ... B00109Y2DQ (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00109Y2DQ?ie=UTF8&tag=787-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00109Y2DQ)

A big name brand, and you can't go wrong for $11 shipped.
