Stopped off at JFK on my way home. I have put off getting the RJA Cargo n/c.

Thanks............I haven't been at T5 as of yet. What range lens is good for shooting from T5?

Those look like they are from the airtrain but i've never been from that garage so It could be from there. Yea with the ash cloud grounding flights alot of a/c are sitting at JFK. Now would be a perfect time to drive around and get some things you dont have yet. Singapore is sitting at building 86 currently. As for the other airlines I dont know where they are parked but it looks like BA is still operating from what I saw 30 minutes ago (they had a 744 departing)

I didnt let the weather stop me (or the night) and I hammered it down. Started raining as she approached but it doesnt look like it affected my shots.
Starting off with a favorite of all of us. JT9-7Q

I really wish I could get her on arrival in 3 hours to complete the cycle, but I won't be able to. Mostly because I'll be sleeping.
Someone once mentioned that your night shots are better than your day ones. I'd agree...these are good. The flight deck shots are especially nice. And to get on one of those things is pretty unusual...

Fuel n go. Just here for fuel. prob rerouted cause of the ash cloud.
@ jer not really. When you work for the company who runs it you can go on it when you want. Giant perk of working for Evergreen. Yea this was an amazing catch.

Unless the Evergreen lawsuit is successful those days are numbered sadly.

I was the villain but it's no exaggeration. I mean at night he gets them centered, level, less blurry, and even with the strobe!

Personal opinion only, I think that's the ugliest modern plane around (and Nick you've thrown a dose of ugly at me posting so many exterior shots of this pig) but those are very cool shots actually. The cockpit, engine & interior pics are very interesting (and that's coming from someone who usually doesn't give a rats about aircraft cabin shots).

It's also very cool to be able to say you were inside of it and have pics to prove it. I wish I could tell random chicks the same

I know. Though I doubt evergreen is going to win the suit. not enough proof on Evergreen's case.
@ Mayi which nick?
After that last shot the batteries died on me

Thanks,
Yes they were taken from the garage. 150-200mm would be needed.

Caught? some may ask you to leave, but others don't mind. I was once asked by one of the the security guys "How the view was".

I'd have to agree with Brandon...the Beluga is definitely uglier.

The LCF lawsuit.
Short of it is that Boeing gave Atlas the LCF contract several months back to appease them on 747-8F deliveries thereby terminating the current contract with Evergreen. Evergreen cried foul, saying that they had lived up to the contract in full and had no reason for it to be taken away from them. Boeing, in response, cited the "because we can" clause in the contract...and Evergreen sued saying that doling out favors to an unhappy customer wasn't a sufficient basis to cancel it. At least that's how I understand it.

Thats pretty much the lawsuit but I dont see Evergreen with enough proof to win the suit sadly. You havent seen the LCF till you've been inside of it. You really get a feeling of how big it actually is. Those 787 wings didnt even take up half the length.

It is pretty amazing how huge that interior is

Ok that's a lot better, thanks!

The Beluga guppy might be uglier but the Dreamlifter still looks like it swallowed a giant pig. It'd say it's almost a draw :)

Yea I agree the LCF does look bloated but Boeing did a good job with it. Just wonder how long they will be flying for...

The Dreamlifter still has the fact that it's a 747 going for it.

In my book the 747 is still the largest plane ever made.
