MY son has a casting call in Miami this morning, so on the way back, we stopped at Opa-Locka to see if there was anything interesting.....and...well...talk about right place...right time...

Please excuse the quality of these - I'm still learning this D200 - and wish I'd been closer to the runway to get the take off's, but, here are 3 powerful liftoffs from the runway

They are out of VFC-111 from NAS Key West, a Naval Reserve squadron that is part of the adversary program, providing dissimilar air combat training to Navy and Marine fighter/attack squadrons. That's why they have the red star on the tail - what you might hear called "aggressor squadrons".
